Signs accompany the birth of a baby named Wang Lu. Eighteen years later, he meets Hai Yunfan during the Lingjian Sect's Immortality Conference.

Wang Lu and Yunfan help each other overcome challenges. To get the Xiaoyun Ancient Coin, Wang Wu makes the Taoyuan Village challenge more difficult.

Wang Zhong switches sides. Wang Lu makes a splash at the Taoyuan Village challenge. Wang Wu escalates another challenge, putting disciples in danger.

Wang Lu is found to have a unique spiritual root, which forces the Lingjian Sect to make a hard decision. However, he is able to make a request.

Zhu Qin finds an excuse to fight Wang Lu and Yunfan. At a training ground, an Outer Court disciple suddenly attacks Yunfan, but meets resistance.

The cause of a disciple's death is revealed, but an innocent Wang Lu still gets punished by Wang Wu. Later, he tracks Liuli Xian with Yunfan.

When Yunfan is under siege by black-cloaked men, Liuli Xian comes to his rescue. After that, Yunfan reveals a secret about his origin.

When Wang Lu reaches a new stage of Wuxiang Bones, Wang Wu asks him to search for Vermilion Fruits. Wang Lu harbors suspicions about Zhu Qin.

While Yunfan flees from black-cloaked men, the mastermind behind the attack is uncovered. The appearance of a fighter makes Yunfan furious.

Yunfan opens up to Wang Lu and recounts his personal feud with Hai Tiankuo. Wang Wu makes a deal with Tiankuo and manages to get something from him.

When Yunfan, Wen Bao and Feng Ling agree to join Wang Lu for a training in Qingyun Peak, the head disciple and Master Zhifeng start to interfere.

Feng Ling asks Wang Lu to keep a secret. Meanwhile, she reveals why Wang Wu drinks. Later, Wang Wu bickers with Master Zhifeng.

Wang Wu defeats Master Zhifeng, who later gets punished. Wang Lu wants Wang Wu to take Yunfan as her disciple, but she makes a demand.

A suffering Wang Wu helps Wang Lu perfect the Wuxiang Mantra. Unable to find enough teammates for the training, Wang Lu makes a special request.

Wang Wu finds Wang Lu a teammate and gives him an empty manual. Later, when returning to his Village with the team, he is greeted with strange looks.

Determined to eliminate the evildoers, Wang Lu coordinates his attacks with the Sword Spirit Liang Qiu. The identity of a saintess is revealed.

Qian Xun recalls her past. To save her, Wang Lu devises a scheme to trick Elder He. Meanwhile, Liuli Xian's amnesia is getting worse.

When Elder He is caught, Mr Zhou takes over his position. Wang Lu decides to create the Aixin Sect. Later, a paper doll draws the crowd's attention.

When the paper doll's identity is exposed, Wang Lu decides to win the crowd over with songs and dances, so he invents a poignant love story.

Wang Lu helps Yunfan clear his name. When his schemes are exposed, Mr Zhou helps Wang Lu confront the Qianling Cult. Liuli Xian is kidnapped.

Ye Li frees the gang from a dungeon. Wang Lu's group interrupt a blood sacrifice ritual. Later, a shocking truth about Lord Tianlun is uncovered.

When a possessed Lord Tianlun starts to kill, Wang Wu comes to the rescue. After Ye Li finishes a blood sacrifice, she tells Wang Lu the truth.

Fang He confronts Wang Lu about the Aixin Sect. To register the Sect, Wang Lu asks for verification before he makes a surprising announcement.

Wang Lu learns a secret about Xue Boren and tries to infiltrate his room. With Liang Qiu's help, he sees Boren using his power on Miao.

Impressed by Feng Ling's trust in Boren, Wang Lu changes his mind. Yunfan follows the Xue brothers. Meanwhile, Wang Wu sneaks into Tiankuo's room.

Master Zuo reveals how he tames spiritual animals, but Wang Lu gets suspicious. Wang Wu tries to escape from Tiankuo while Yunfan goes out drinking.

Boren risks his life for Feng Ling. Wang Lu and Liang Qiu coordinate their attack on Master Zuo. Later, a new couple are ready to tie the knot.

Yunfan learns the shocking truth about Feng Ling's wedding. When confronted by Yunfan, Boren tries to prove his innocence. Chai Qi recounts a tragedy.

To fix a longstanding feud, Feng Yin and Feng Ling make sacrifices. Later, Yunfan and Wang Lu decide to go their separate ways.

Feng Yin is seriously injured while Feng Ling is trapped in a cave. After touching a talisman, Wang Wu gets transported to an unknown dimension.

As the Fabulous Five Conference begins, the Lingjian Sect prepares to face the Shengjing Sect. Wen Bao is in trouble. Yunfan joins the Shengjing Sect.

As a magic tool is destroyed, the sect leaders gather to find a solution. Shuiyue makes a proposal, which makes Wang Wu's secret plan fall through.

Du Songzi plots a scheme against Wang Lu, who later outsmarts his rivals. A sudden attack from Shuiyue puts all sect leaders' lives on the line.

Chaos ensues after Wang Lu and Liuli Xian cause havoc in the Hall of Virtue. Yunfan's plan is revealed. Later, Shuiyue comes under siege.

The Nuwa Stone allows Ouyang Shang to come back to life. He settles the feud between him and Tiankuo.
