A famous lawyer is shot dead in front of twelve witnesses who have seen nothing, heard nothing: are they accomplices to the murder or victims of an incredible mystification... Through a neurologist with mentalist talents, Astrid and Raphaëlle will direct their investigation to a magician, former television star. By digging into the victim's past, they will eventually understand that magic was the starting point of his success but also of a terrible personal drama.

The Japanese owner of an art gallery is found dead in a spa. Killed with a sword, he would have cut off his little finger as a sign of penance before dying as a yakuza would. Astrid and Raphaëlle go in search of a killer with a huge tattoo on his back. They will gradually realize that a family story is the key to murder.

A man is killed in an ultra-secure factory from which the main suspect inexplicably managed to escape. Astrid and Raphaëlle are about to leave the crime scene, when it appears before their eyes, in a flash. Could she have been the victim of an alien abduction as suggested by the first elements of the investigation or is another much more tangible reality behind this crime?

A trainee is found dead in the huge organ of the Maison de la Radio. Astrid and Raphaëlle investigate the very heart of the instrument and meet an organist prodigy and her cantankerous old teacher. Things get tough when a second lifeless body is found near the organ. The modus operandi is the same... A track is beginning to emerge: what if it was the music that kills?

A young woman is found dead in a forest. Her body is partially burned and it seems that strange rituals were performed at the crime scene. Disturbing detail: she gave birth just hours before her death and the baby's whereabouts are unknown. Astrid and Raphaëlle find themselves on the trail of a feminist association: Circé. Was this young woman killed because of her commitment? Is the murder related to an obscure practice of witchcraft or to the baby she was carrying?

One of the associates of a high-tech company is murdered. The crime scene suggests that this Orthodox Jew may have been a victim of the Golem, a mythical clay creature obeying the orders of its creator. This directs the investigation towards an artificial intelligence project with disturbing realism. While their first suspect sinks into madness, Astrid and Raphaëlle will discover that taking oneself for God is never without consequences.

At an auction, the auctioneer presents a precious ancient manuscript, the Corpus Hermeticum, before having a fit of delirium and then collapsing, dead. Apparently, he was poisoned, and in panic, the priceless book was replaced by a fake. Astrid and Raphaëlle will be interested in this object that would contain absolute knowledge and that arouses the wildest desires.

An armed woman enters the criminal documentation and takes everyone hostage. Accused of killing her godfather to Alcoholics Anonymous, she absolutely wants to prove her innocence. She is desperate, alone against all... Astrid and Raphaëlle, will play the clock and try to piece together the puzzle of this story to restore the truth.
