The homicide team are called to a stud farm, where the body of a Chinese restaurateur is found in a stable. It looks like a tragic accident, but has it been carefully staged?

A dutiful civil servant is found dead in his girlfriend's apartment. The residue of drugs at the crime scene point to the 'squeaky-clean' victim's unusual hobby, and the homicide team must confront the Antwerp police's narcotics division.

The body of a mechanic is uncovered in the forest, clutching a yellow iris. While the team considers what the flower symbolizes, a second victim is found in the same spot as the first and the case turns political. But Liese suspects that the killer has a personal motive.

It looks as though the victim was involved in illegal smuggling of woods through the harbor, but when it seems others at the docks have more at stake, the team question whether he was the victim of something greater.

When the body of heroin addict Kathy Debaere is found, it seems as though her addiction has got the better of her. But with her young child missing from the apartment, the team are up against the clock to find the child, and track down Antwerp's own 'Dirty Harry' who is attempting to clean up the city. Meanwhile, Liese faces some tough decisions in her home life.

Meanwhile, Liese and Sura grow closer as they confront Liese's blackmailer.

At first, his death appears to be related to his out-of-hours activities but when a second body is found, the team must take a closer look at the political lives of the two victims.
