Luke is struggling to find a sitter for his daughter while he has an interview for a job. Michelle tries to help, but is shocked by Luke's desperate behavior. Simon and Will have the perfect date. However, is Will too good to be true?
A patient of Daniels wants to die at home, rather than at hospital, so Cherry goes to visit him. He doesn't want his family there, which Cherry finds hard to understand. Daniel also tries to find out from Julia and Heston what's happening with the practice, now that they are a partner down. Smithy has a little surprise for Ruth, he's got a baby from somewhere. He thinks it's theirs, but Ruth is totally shocked. Has Smithy lost his marbles again?
A former rugby player, whose now in a wheelchair, gets into a fight when drunk with mates at a lap dancing club. He injures himself. His put upon wife gets Heston involved. His wife, it seems, is keeping a secret: She's a lap dancer. There're more tap dancing rehearsals, Ruth is really good, though her rehearsal is interrupted when Smithy turns up. He's been tap dancing in the snow, with no shoes on.
Rob struggles to work out the cause of a car accident when the only witness seems like a timewaster, but Jimmi digs deeper and finds the witness has a rare condition which could save the driver's life. Ruth confronts Smithy about his recent behaviour, and Simon fears Will is going off him.
As Smithy's erratic behaviour pushes Ruth to the edge, she has to struggle with a big decision; does she call for help or let Smithy finally be free? Cherry's cynicism provokes Simon to give Will an ultimatum.
Zara and Daniel argue over the well-being of a meddling OAP, whose stress levels rise as he tries to incriminate his drug-dealing neighbour. Henry tries to help Ruth come to terms with Smithy's sectioning, but Ruth has some big questions about her future.
Michelle intervenes when the parents of a missing teenager are led on a mystery tour around Letherbridge. Simon has the day from hell, while Julia takes action against Daniel and Zara.
Charlie and Heston go for a late night Balti, and end up causing some racially aggravated fuss. Jimmi goes to a late night home visit. The woman and her daughter are both fans of his from his radio show, which brings back memories of his recent kidnapping by his 'number one fan'.
Daniel and Zara are on their very worst behaviour at a team building course. Karen makes a depressing financial realisation, while Simon's birthday party doesn't go to plan.
It's the second day of Zara and Daniel's Team Building course, and there's a new leader, Julian having taken the day off for 'personal time'. Zara's in a mood over Daniel's night time exploits with Daisy. The day ends with it all getting a bit serious. Heston meets the IT guy, who turns out to be sexy Susan. He gets drawn in to her personal activities. Simon is worried about Will's strange behavior last night, when he disappeared from his birthday party.
A friend of Imogen's gets more than she bargained for when she makes a play for a rich elderly man. Karen is shocked to find out what everyone else earns, and Julia is put in a difficult position regarding the partnership.
Ruth's day is turned upside town by a tearaway visitor to the Mill. Simon and Will spend a romantic day together while Zara's father is released from prison.

He wants to move into a place of his own. Ruth has to find someone else to lead the tap dance troupe, as Charlie has gout again. She targets Jimmi.

Unfortunately Mitsy gets caught in the crossfire. Julia calls in a woman to help with the Mill's efficiency, which results in war between her, Julia and Karen.
A man, just out of prison, is constantly getting harassed, vandalized and is the victim of anti-social behavior. A young thug believes he killed his dad. Rob gets involved to try and sort it all out. Cassandra and Heston keep getting closer, but does she go too far? Jack talks to his dad about his next big story for the student rag. An itchy spot has appeared on Julia's back, so she gets Karen to have a look at it.
Jack is writing a new article for the student paper. He's investigating Mr Quinn, the Head of Admissions, who he thinks is admitting undeserving students. He has help from miss Laker, who says is being bullied by Mr Quinn. Jack discovers that journalism isn't quite as straight forward as he thinks though. Cassandra tells Heston that she thinks they are soul mates, but how will he react?
Julia is at home ill. Her pipes are also faulty. Unfortunately the new Chief Executive of the PCT is visiting the Mill. It falls to a put-upon Ruth to deal with him. Heston is only just out of hospital, but still pops into work. An old eccentric, poorly recluse has trouble from a badger-baiting youth. Daniel gets involved, then it all gets out of hand.
Immie takes Gaz to an Open Mic comedy gig at 'The Laughter Shack', but she is disgusted by the terrible treatment they get from the compère. She decides to try and get back at him. Daniel invites Zara to a new posh restaurant, only she gets a call from her cousin so can't go. He decides to take Jimmi instead, but it ends up with the four of them going, much to Cherry's dismay. Julia gets to the truth about Ruth and Mr Galliflakis.
Simon bumps into a teenage girl with a baby who is obviously upset. He tries to help but gets the brush off. That's not the end of the matter though. An ex boyfriend's mother tries to see Cherry. She wants to have lunch, but why?
After her lack of success with Jimmi, and having dreams of herself floating in water, Cherry decides to get rid of everything pink and take herself more seriously. Her day would soon end up in real waters though, helping a drowning man, with Jimmi to the rescue. Julia is ill at work, so Zara takes her home and decides to play nursemaid.
Cherry is in hospital following her brush with death, and all she can think about is her savior - Jimmi. Charlie thinks he's got a way into a prestigious golf club in Letherbridge, having saved the Chairman's wife from choking at a party. Only it won't be prestigious for long if he joins! Julia is back at work. She's very stressed and having a go at Karen.
A woman goes to see Daniel for Botox. She wants to look like she did in an old photo she's brought with her. Daniel has his doubts though - she talks to people who aren't there, and her doctor and husband say she's dead. Elaine is relaxing at home, in the middle of a long term relationship that's going no-where. She wants to get back to work, and the Mill is her target. Julia is still feeling ill - she's got the shakes and falls asleep in the strangest of places.
A local darts legend comes to the Mill. He has 'dartitis', so Karen tries to sort him out, with fan Rob's help. Julia, Heston and Daniel interview for the new doctor, with Elaine as the least favorite. Is that about to change though? Jimmi and Cherry go on a not entirely successful first date.
Spanner is working with the police to trap granddad in a drunks ring. Granddad is such named because he walks like one. He accuses Jimmi of police brutality, but it seems he has a brittle bone disease. Julia is tricked by Heston into asking Ruth for help in her PCT presentation. Elaine is having a lazy day shaving her legs, and asks Paul to go with her to Letherbride. He doesn't want to but presents her with a new house opportunity. Then she gets the job offer from Heston. What is she to do?
Even though her memory loss is worsening, Julia tries to help a woman whose husband died recently. She still talks to him though, and he follows her around. Her daughter is dealing with the loss in a very different way. Elaine discovers that Paul lied to her about the house, just to stop her from moving to Letherbridge. She's very annoyed, so makes a momentous decision. Cherry talks to Simon about her Jimmi concerns.
Rob gets pulled from pillar to post, as everyone wants a piece of him. He also gets called into work, is his old nemesis 'Verity the Viper' back in action? All he wants to do though, is go fishing. It's Elaine's first day at the Mill, and she gets the full 'pervy' treatment from Charlie. Cherry tries her 'Demon Spawn Doctor Test' on Jimmi, to discover how far his foibles go.
After a posh party and against Julia's better wishes, one of the chief consultants of the PCT asks Daniel to mentor one of his students for a couple of days. Only he acts a bit weird and keeps disappearing. Elaine starts fighting back against Charlie's charm offensive, and Julia's mood goes from bad to worse.
Michael's behavior gets stranger by the minute, and after an outburst at the surgery, Daniel tells him to get out. Heston gives Crossland some advice over breakfast - it seems Michael has some hold over him which could wreck his marriage. Julia gets ever more stressed and bad tempered over the upcoming presentation, with Ruth getting the brunt of it.
Simon finds his final assessment in tatters after Heston points out an article in the latest medical rag. Elaine has a home visit, only the patient, who's a musician and has a performance coming up, is coughing up blood. He refuses to listen to her advice. Julia thinks she may have Parkinsons.
Kye is scared of the woods outside the back of her house. She keeps getting flashes of red fire, and senses something evil. Her dad thinks she's psychically blessed. Heston discovers it all leads to something very close to home. Zara returns and is furious when she finds her room has been turned into a 'Hippy Squat'. It's the day of the presentation at the PCT, only Ruth has to step up when Julia falls apart.

A friend of Simon's takes him along to see an astrophysicist, who even though discredited, has started a 'cult' organization. His name is Blake, and they all dress like Star Trek characters. Or is there something more sinister lurking? It's Ruth's first day in charge, as Julia is off sick. Only she's trying a bit too hard. Julia gets a surprise visit at home, Zara is out to get Elaine, but is totally disarmed.
Zara has an exquisite gateau delivered especially from France, and plans to eat one piece a day over four days. It's not that easy though. She bets a slice that Cherry can't make Ruth laugh out loud, and, called to attend a local boxing match, she makes a big mistake in taking the cake with her. She also discovers that all is not as it seems when the young boxer has a nasty fall.
An old friend of Charlie's is recently bereaved. She keeps seeing her dead husband in the mirror, so goes to Charlie for help. She tells him that it says in the will that there is a secret box kept in an upstairs safe, which must be delivered to the solicitor unopened. This scares Charlie, and he's determined to see inside her box. Julia falls asleep while looking after Chloe, who ends up scalded. Julia calls everyone by the wrong name.
Jimmi and Cherry wake up in bed, only Jimmi calls her Eva. She's naturally perturbed. Two yobs pinch some flowers from a florist, which end up on Jimmi's car. Jimmi finds them, together with a previously left 'sorry' note from Cherry! Confusion reigns, especially when the police turn up. Julia takes Chloe to the zoo, only loses her. Simon thinks there may be something wrong with Julia.
A man wakes up in hospital with eye patches on. He's been in a crash, but doesn't remember it and doesn't recognize his brother's voice. Jack is shadowing the sexy, yet cynical solicitor on the case. He spots that something's afoot and wants to delve deeper. She doesn't. Will he get into serious trouble or save the day? Simon, Cherry and Ruth all voice their concern over Julia to Heston. He's a tough nut though, and doesn't believe anything's wrong.
Jimmi goes around to visit Julia to try and find out what's wrong with her. It's the day of the Freshers Ball, and the band are struggling with their rehearsals. The lead singer then gets a phone call which threatens to mess everything up. It's up to Elaine to help sort it all out.
Simon loses it when Charlie says one homophobic remark too many. Unfortunately Daniel is in charge and thinks he's making a mountain out of a molehill. Cherry sees a woman who has Motor Neurone Disease. She badly cuts herself when she drops a mug. Her husband is struggling to cope with her and their wayward teenage daughter.
Julia is having one heck of a day. All her work colleagues keep popping up in her house, though some of them she thinks are her family. Everything's all messed up, and to top it all, two annoying people keep knocking on her door. Are they real, or are we in Julia's fevered subconscious? Or is it a mixture of both?
Charlie visits Julia, only she believes that he's Mac, her husband. He spends the night with her. Ruth is shocked to find him there the next morning, wearing Mac's old dressing gown and even more perturbed when Julia tells her that he was 'forceful' with her. What are Ruth and Heston to do, and has Charlie finally gone too far?
Patrick continues to look after Julia while she continues to have tests in hospital, while the staff of the Mill continue to come to terms with it all. Heston empties out Charlie's things from his room. Rob has to attend a dull 'Managing Suspicion' police course, but soon gets a call from a desperate colleague. Immie meets Gio, and she's head over heels!
Two stupid students' jolly japing goes too far when one of them glues the others fingers to his penis. With really strong glue. Immie dolls herself up for a hopefully second meeting with Gio. Elaine convinces Patrick to allow Julia to have some visitors. Now that she's being treated for Limes Disease, just how much will she remember?
Cherry tries to match-make two friends at her morning yoga sessions, but it doesn't quite work out as she would have hoped. Elaine moves into Charlie's old room, but while she's making it all nice, she seems to become the one person that everyone else wants to talk to about Julia and Charlie. Immie goes for coffee with her dreamy poetry spouting Italian hunk.
First into work in the morning, Zara finds a new born baby on the Mill doorstep. Despite her initial detachment, the baby girl soon brings out the emotional and human side of her. Gio turns up at Immie's art class playing romantic music and carrying flowers. So smitten is she that they try and have sex, only to be interrupted by Jack. He gets mad, but will she be able to stop him telling their mum.
Meredith Von Trapp sees Daniel about the pill. She's a virgin and has a phobia of all things sexual, and keeps putting her boyfriend off from having sex. She also happens to be a stripper. Daniel and Jimmi go to a stag do, where the stripper is...! Heston goes to see an old friend, who is a 'serial canceler', but ends up on his new Segway.
Jack wakes up after a wild party, only to have to help a girl to hospital. She's vomiting, after taking something she shouldn't have. He also has to deal with a mad and violent relation of hers, who just won't go away. Charlie gets sex education tips from Cherry and Zara - mainly Zara. Ruth visits Henry, only to receive some shocking news.

Ruth goes to apologize to Henry for her outburst, and they have tea and muffins. He is still determined to end their sessions, so she loses it again. He then tells her the real reason for wanting to move away. A young girl is killed, and Jimmi treats a woman who has seen the killer. Immie invites Gio around for lunch, much to Karen's surprise. So much for having sex on the sofa!
Ruth asks Simon if he can find out what he can about MS, as Henry is moving away to look after his ex wife who has it. She has a last meeting with him, tap dances for him, and puts on a brave face. Two men have trouble coping with their Telly Sales boss, who's a bit of a ball-breaker. Simon helps the one guy, Jamie, who has missed an appointment and is now ill.
Elaine bumps into a patient, who is having lots of sex, all the wrong food, and is piling on the pounds. Is it all innocent, or is there something more sinister underneath? Rob finds out about Immie and Gio, and jumps in with both feet first. So they invite Gio around for dinner, much to Immie's embarrassment.
A wheelchair-bound woman is convinced that her boyfriend killed her sister Jane. But where's the body, and what will Cherry think of it all. Still recovering from the night before, Immie is starting to get a bit fed up of Gio's constant pestering of her.

Jo's mother thinks that she is harming her daughter again. She noticed some bruises, so went to the cops. Rob and Jimmi get involved. Gio stopped over with Jack, he's heartbroken and is drinking. Jack thinks Zara is just the person to give him advice about his broken heart. Zara has a great Friday night with Daniel, only wakes up later with the hot sweats.
An old friend of Hestons wants to go to Hong Kong, only her father is dying. Heston gets involved in a complicated family situation. It's Julia's first day back at work, and she is bowled over by the enthusiasm of everyones welcome. Is she coping with it okay though, as she's having flashbacks to her imagined time when she was ill? Zara snaps at Daniel when he constantly voices concern over her hot flushes.
The Mill boiler isn't working, so Karen calls the plummer. He may be fit (according to Zara and Cherry), but he's got a phobia of mice, which is a problem when he discovers loads of mice droppings everywhere. Karen decides to help him by introducing Rodney into the proceedings. It's the day of Elaine's first morning meeting, but it's more difficult to arrange than one would think.
An old friend of Julia's is having a relapse of an old condition, which has the effect of her seeing strange hallucinations. Her son-in-law goes to Julia, thinking she's faking it, and asks Julia to help. Elaine has another go at having her first staff meeting, she's even baked proper gluten-full muffins. Zara continues to hide from having an emotional conversation with Daniel.
Zara wakes up with the hot sweats again, and Daniel is fed up with her lying to him all the time. He gets Cherry to ask her over to Jimmi's for a four-way dinner party - she's cooking. Jimmi finds out that Cherry has made a mess in the toilet, and used all his towels to clean it up. He shows her how to clean properly. Daniel finally corners Zara, and she tells him everything.
Rob has been drafted in to help CID on an observation, but he gets distracted when a rambling homeless man starts going on about a dead body. He used to be a soldier, so Rob thinks he's hallucinating, as there's now no body. Will Rob be able to keep his mind on the job in hand, or will the watch be ruined? Daniel has a lot to think about after Zara's revelation, and is worrying too much. Zara is at the Campus, and is also fretting. She confides in Ruth, so Ruth gives her some beetroot salad.
A handsome school friend of Jimmi's creates a stir with the women at the Mill. Rhys reminisces with Jimmi, but their conversation takes a more sinister turn when he reveals he is being followed.
Ruth runs into an old friend of an old boyfriend while looking for her Manual Handling course. They seem to be getting on very well so he joins Ruth an Cherry for lunch. Unfortunately he seems to have a heavily pregnant wife. Fed up with his slovenly lifestyle, Jack decides to start jogging, but gets the mickey taken out of him by some other much fitter joggers. Elaine meets a handsome stranger when she gets lost a St Phil's on her way to a meeting.

Concerned that Heston gives prescription drugs to patients far too easily, Elaine, Zara and Ruth bet him that he can't go just one day without giving any. Unfortunately the scrub nurse that used to terrify him when he was young arrives, demanding her beta blockers. He ends up going to a wedding with her. Dr. Richard Cane calls Elaine trying to apologize to her for yesterday, and wants to have lunch. Jack wants to write a story about Tony, as he's so fit.
Sasha is taking 'calorie-busters' and not sleeping, and Jack is not eating. Sasha tells Immie, who is far from impressed, especially when Sasha disappears from a test. Jack is trying to keep up with the other bigger, fitter boys in the gym. Elaine accuses Richard of stalking her, when he turns up at the Mill, in an interview with Julia. Cherry dumps Jimmi for Angelina, then gets paranoid that she's upset him.
Ciaran needs a new boyfriend. When he and his friend Shona overhear Jack talking on the phone to his mom, they convince themselves that he has been dumped, and Shona convinces Ciaran that Jack is gay. Mrs Tembe thinks the Mill could do with some cosmetic changes. Jimmi goes round to talk to Karen, but gets a shock at her reaction when Rob turns up.

Immie and Belinda are at the Mill, shooting a documentary about life in the NHS. Immie though, gets all determined and seems to be so focused on the virus outbreak and the personal lives of the doctors that she misses the personal problems her friend is having, which include a very overbearing mother. Immie then totally overlooks her mother's contribution.

It's Immie's art project showing, but it doesn't get the reaction she was hoping for, especially from Jack! After the most terrible feedback, she decides she needs a treat. Cherry deals with a seemingly devoted butler who is trying to make his delusional, dying mistress' last days as comfortable as possible, despite arguments from her son. He seems to think that the butler is after her money!
Karen discovers that one of Rob's oldest friends has a shocking secret. Him and his wife are having an 80's party for their wedding anniversary, though he's also wearing women's clothes. His wife thinks he's having an affair though - with Karen. An old friend from hell of Cherrys calls her for a home visit. She has a nasty scar on her face, though she carries on treating Cherry exactly how she did many years ago.

Cherry tries everything to get Simon to stay at the Mill, but he's already announced his intention to leave to the partners. Cherry's very sad. Immie carries on stealing.
