Gavin's new assistant, Daniel, starts today and is thrown into the deep-end while Gavin deals with the arrival of the owner of Valco, who's dropping off his daughter, Charlie, to start working at the Warrington branch.

Valco is cracking down on counterfeit money, and when Lisa tells Rose that a customer is pulling the wool over her eyes, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

Brian struggles to hide his scepticism when first aid training gets under way, while security guard Ian is outfoxed by an unwelcome visitor to the store.

Freddie Flintoff is launching a brand new party range in Valco and for the main press event he hosts a small game of cricket in-store with Gavin taking the lead.

Daniel's running the store when head office announce the canteen is no longer free. The staff are not impressed so Charlie takes them all out to lunch to take the heat off Daniel.

Gavin is determined to make Charlie look good when dad Brendan swings by the store to see if she has been taught the ins and outs of supermarket work. Plus, Colin forces Rose and Lisa to resolve their differences.
