Season 5

Bajo and Junglist return from their holidays to get back into a big year of gaming. Kicking things off with reviews of Skate 2, Lord of the Rings Conquest and Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos!

This episode saw some massive releases up for review with FPS titans Killzone 2 and F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, and the follow up to an excellent RTS classic with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. Plus, Junglist gives us a backward compatible run down through the history of Warhammer games.

Bajo and Junglist review Halo Wars, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, and Street Fighter IV. Plus, we meet our new field reporter Rei who checks out some art inspired by games. And we go Backward Compatible to look at the history of one of the greatest consoles of all time, the SNES!

In this episode Junglist and Bajo review GTA IV: The Lost and Damned, Flower, and Puzzle Quest: Galactrix. Plus, Bajo investigates how to conserve our delicate gaming equipment, and we go Backward Compatible with the history of companions in games.

What a huge week for games with blockbusters Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age: Origins up for review, along with family friendly classics New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time. Plus, Rei takes a look at the rise of digital distribution and how it’s changing our gaming habits.

We review the follow to one of Hex’s favourite games, Assassin’s Creed 2, and look at Sackboy’s portable outing in LittleBigPlanet for PSP, plus round up a whole bunch of singing games like Singstar Motown, Singstar Take That, and U-Sing. It’s the end of the year which means it’s time for a Christmas special! Along with handing out our yearly best of awards we find time to review a heap of games, including Left 4 Dead 2, Lego Rock Band, Band Hero, James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game, The Saboteur, Rush Rush Rally Racing, Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues & The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Phew, that’s a lot of games! Plus, Rei investigates how gaming can be the greatest gift to those in need, and we take a look back through the past decade of gaming!
