The group ventures into a ruined city where husks roam the streets. Tensions flare as they discover a strange machine — the Reforger — and realize it may be the source of the plague.

Ivy reveals fragments of her past as the husks grow more violent. Survivors debate whether Ivy is their salvation or the key to their downfall. Trust begins to fracture.

The Reforger comes alive, pulling survivors into its cycle. A husk swarm attacks, and Ivy’s infection spreads further, making her powers both a weapon and a curse.

Loss hits the group hard. A funeral turns into a massacre when husks infiltrate the survivors’ camp. Ivy makes her first direct stand against the plague, hinting she may be its center.

All-out war erupts between survivors and husks. Marrow takes command, Ivy teeters on the edge of control, and the battlefield becomes a nightmare of blood and fire.

The survivors reach the heart of the husk world. Ivy confronts the Self King — her shadow made flesh — and realizes she must face not just the husks, but herself.

In a colossal showdown, Ivy merges with her husk-self, shattering the throne and burning the husk army away. Survivors emerge into the first dawn in years, leaving behind ruin but also hope.
