Roger walks out of the family business when Jack fails to show faith in his management skills and refuses to make him a partner, with a little persuasion from Vicky, Roger sets up his own outfit and manages to successfully clinch a deal from under Jack's nose. Soon, the whole family becomes involved in the rivalry.

Jack takes a liking to the new boyfriend but the rest of the family are equally enamoured by the seemingly perfect Ben, much to Roger's dismay.
