Jung Won, as a reporter, excels at uncovering the guilty ones, and not only that, she possesses beauty and is married to a wealthy man. However, everything takes a dramatic turn when she encounters a dead body. To compound matters, a woman she barely knows alleges an affair with Jung Won's husband. The once-perfect facade of Jung Won's life begins to fracture further.

Jung Won can't seem to shake off the startling scene she unexpectedly encountered, prompting her to keep quiet about what she witnessed. She meticulously sifts through Woo Jae's belongings in search of anything dubious, yet comes up empty-handed. Nonetheless, the temporary relief fades quickly, and her suspicions about Woo Jae resurface. Meanwhile, Tae Heon stumbles upon a shocking discovery while reviewing security footage for a separate murder case.

Woo Jae rejects any involvement in Cha Eun Sae’s death and asserts that he is not the father of her unborn child.
