Hazen Audel takes us to the world's most extreme tropical islands to show us the incredible techniques that the locals use to survive. The dangers he faces include sub-zero temperatures, deadly mountain climbs and packs of man-eating predators. To survive, Hazen will rely on the ancient knowledge and ingenious survival skills of the tribal communities who call these harsh mountain environments home.

Hazen ventures under tons of arctic sea ice to gather vital food from the sea floor, track down big game through miles of the thorn-covered Kalahari plains, and herd hundreds of reindeer over Norway's endless frozen tundra.
