In season 2, the recruits are faced with the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand. They face the ice breaker drill where they are submerged in a frozen lake to find their body temperature plummeting to near hypothermic levels. They attempt a treacherous ravine crossing atop a 4700 ft snowcapped mountain peak as well as an emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.
A new troop of 14 household names face the harsh reality of winter warfare training.

The remaining recruits are tasked with submerging themselves in icy water and then simulate infiltrating enemy infrastructure by racing each other down a 330 foot dam.
