Six artisan food makers pitch their products to Aldi, from a multicoloured burger to Stormzy's favourite dinner re-imagined as a ready meal. Only one will make it onto the shelves.

More hopefuls pitch their unique foods to Aldi. It's bakery week. Only one product will be chosen. Novelty bread maybe? Or edible raw cookie dough!? Very flaky Jamaican pastries?

It's party time, and the six artisans come bearing quirky charcuterie, boozy dessert sauces, Syrian halloumi and fruity fizz.

Makers of a cocoa-free bar, a protein chocolate that promises to make the consumer more beautiful, super-strong CBD gummies and a toffee cauldron that gives a modern take on a traditional sweet pitch to Aldi executives in hopes of getting their products on the shelves in store.

Aldi look for the next world-food sensation, from Filipino ketchup to jackfruit mutton, Nigerian puff puff - 'like donuts, but better' - and a fiery soul food 'love dust'

A protein ball called Dung, a low-sugar granola butter, and a healthy ginger beer with a kick are three of the products pitching to go on Aldi shelves across the country.
