Jade, a gifted barista and a struggling single mother, works hard at a local neighborhood café to make ends meet. However, her fate is about to change after a chance encounter with Eros Petrakis, the attractive yet pompous son of a shipping tycoon.

Freshly-hired as Eros’ personal assistant, Jade is a regular fish-out-of-water in his world. She struggles to keep up with his demands. When Eros fails to land an important deal, Jade must do everything she can to keep her job, even if it means risking her own dreams. Meanwhile, Eros notices something peculiar about Jade.

Faced with the threat of losing his heirship, Eros seeks Jade’s assistance again in winning over his father. Mrs Changley loses her cafe. A ghost from Jade’s past reappears again.

Jade meets Eros’ parents for the first time. A mutual attraction starts to grow between them. Memories of a past rendezvous constantly flashes in Eros’ mind. Eros’ father reveals hidden truths about Jade that throws Eros in a fit of rage.

Jade’s history catches up to her. Eros realizes his true feelings for her. Joseph breaks an unexpected news to Jade. Jade finds herself torn between the two men in her life.

Despite Jade calling off the fake engagement, Eros has other plans in mind. Joseph and Eros hash it out in the boxing ring. Mrs Changley has some words of wisdom for Jade. Joseph takes matters into his own hands.

Tragic news befalls upon Jade. Eros is arrested for assault. Markos confronts Jade with a proposal of his own. Zion goes missing.

After the biggest ordeal of their lives, Eros decides to let Jade go. He returns to the company and is newly engaged to a woman of his father’s choice. Jade is faced with an intervention. Will she let Eros slip away?
