Then, Bobby cooks up a Hollywood-inspired dinner of California persimmon crepes and rib-eyes with Thai green curry butter.

Bobby and Sophie Flay explore downtown Los Angeles, hitting both the revolutionary eateries that are a part of the area's culinary rebirth, like Smorgasburg, a weekly open-air food market, and the tried-and-true restaurants that have stood the test of time, like Langer's Deli. Then, Bobby uses what he has learned along the way to make the ultimate goat tacos.

From Broad Street Oyster Co. in Malibu to Crudo e Nudo in Venice to Playa Provisions in Playa del Rey, they visit inventive chefs who are taking full advantage of the area's abundance of fresh seafood. To cap off this seaside food tour, Bobby cooks up a beach-inspired meal of grilled oysters, rockfish and prawns broiled in his outdoor oven.
