After wrapping his acclaimed run on "4 Blocks," Kida Khodr Ramadan is at a loss when the roles he's offered don’t align with his career vision until a tweet from Ricky Gervais changes everything.

As Kida scrambles to fund his project's trailer, a highly unusual opportunity to recoup some of the production's costs falls into his lap.

With an official greenlight imminent, Kida and Marius scramble to find a new director for the project after Tom’s departure.

To save his family and the production from going bankrupt, Kida searches for funding and cost-cutting measures. Meanwhile, Sami runs a strange new enterprise at school.

As Kida oscillates between the highs of the greenlight and the lows of still being in the doghouse, Marius goes to extreme lengths to get his hands on his mother’s estate.

The show’s stunt double drama is the least of Kida’s problems when he suddenly faces the possibility of being “canceled.” Later, as Marius begins a revealing side project, Kida decides to take control of the narrative.

After the production brings in a highly notable and wealthy partner to right the ship, Kida finally gets to try his hand at directing, but will shooting the episode’s intimacy be too overwhelming?

As Kida grapples with his increasingly diminishing role on his own television series, he also worries about how to explain everything to Ricky.
