The insolvent WONG YEUNG-TAT begs HOI LEUNG, Chairman of Treasure Ocean Plus Group, to give him more time in repaying the debt. HOI LEUNG’s assistant CHOW CHEUK-WAI finds him intolerable. HOI LEUNG’s daughter HOI MEI-SZ goes to Starry Sky appliance manufacturing factory to invite her aunt HO WAI-SUM, head of the factory, and her cousin HOI SING to her birthday party. During the time, she discovers that YEUNG is borrowing money from WAI-SUM and this eventually put the factory into great financial difficulties. MEI-SZ asks her mother CHENG MING-CHU to organize a birthday party for her and HOI LEUNG suspects that MEI-SZ has got a boyfriend. HOI SING’s rich girlfriend CHUK YIU-KWAN brings him to seek help from her brother YIU-KWONG. In order to borrow money, HOI SING mortgages the factory’s shares to YIU-KWONG……

HOI SING reveals to YIU-KWAN that he will be able to redeem his factory’s shares very soon for he has got a big order but YIU-KWAN looks uneasy. HOI SING is enraged to discover that HOI LEUNG has become the biggest shareholder of the factory. After realizing that HOI LEUNG wants to close the factory, HOI SING loses control in the meeting… WAI-SUM asks HOI LEUNG to stop attacking the factory and HOI SING but HOI LEUNG insists that she and her husband HOI YEUNG owe him a lot… KIN-SHING is drunk and HOI SING sends him home. KIN-SHING’s son LAM-TAI just returns from USA. LAM-TAI is an expert in marketing and HOI SING invites him to work in his factory. MING-CHU visits HOI LEUNG with her homemade dinner and she persuades him not to shut down the factory. HOI LEUNG reveals to HO SING that he will suspend the shut down date of the factory but he will end the business if it doesn’t have any profits within 2 months…

HOI SING is touched for YIU-KWAN stands by him all the time and he proposes marriage to her… HOI LEUNG assigns the clerk FONG LAI-KING to work at the factory and HOI SING believes that she is a spy. HOI LEUNG criticizes HOI SING’s proposal during the company’s meeting and HOI SING is depressed. LAM-TAI develops a creative money-earning plan for the factory and he believes that this could save the factory. LAI-KING reports the news to HOI LEUNG and she requests for an early bonus for being a spy. LAM-TAI is invited to a classmates gathering and YIU-KWAN receives the same invitation as well. LAM-TAI meets YIU-KWAN at the gathering and this reminds him of how they broke up long time ago… YIU-KWAN tries to explain herself to him but LAM-TAI reveals that everything has passed away…

MEI-SZ chats with LAM-TAI happily and she reveals that she wants to be a doctor because HOI SING has saved her life long time ago. KIN-SHING discovers that the accessories of their cookers are not delivered on time. WAI-SUM blames HOI LEUNG for withholding the accessories and she mentions their past again impulsively… MING-CHU is shocked to realize that HOI LEUNG is trying to give troubles to the factory and she quarrels with him. HOI SING suspects that LAI-KING is involved in the late delivery issue but WAI-SUM chooses to believe in her. MEI-SZ wants her parents to reconcile with each other. She deliberately creates a chance for HOI LEUNG to celebrate wedding anniversary with MING-CHU. LAM-TAI successfully orders the accessories with his Singapore friend’s factory address. He asks KIN-SHING and HOI SING to keep this as a secret so that LAI-KING and HOI LEUNG will not disturb their plan……

MEI-SZ has booked a place for HOI LEUNG but he remembers it wrongly. MING-CHU is very upset. LAI-KING receives a call from her mother MAK OI-LING. She returns home to discover that the door is sprayed with red paints because her mother has borrowed money from the loan shark. LAI-KING later discovers that the factory’s door is also sprayed with red paint. KIN-SHING blames her for ruining the image of their factory and HOI SING asks her to return to Treasure Ocean Plus Group… Later, LAI-KING discovers that her younger sister LAI-HA is also in debt. In order to repay the debt, she decides to continue staying in the factory as a spy reluctantly. MING-CHU is pregnant. HOI LEUNG and MEI-SZ are overjoyed. LAM-TAI tries to observe LAI-KING’s actions secretly for his father. He discovers LAI-HA borrowing money from her. He also discovers that LAI-KING suffers from a serious disease……

MEI-SZ doesn’t know if her way of saving people is correct. LAM-TAI consoles him by sharing his own experiences. YIU-KWAN declares her love to LAM-TAI but LAM-TAI tells her that their relationship has ended already. LAM-TAI discovers that LAI-KING has overheard their conversation and he warns her to keep the secret. LAM-TAI and KIN-SHING are injured in a traffic accident. They are sent to the hospital where MEI-SZ works. HOI SING informs YIU-KWAN about the accident. YIU-KWAN discovers the reason of the accident and she is very ashamed. YIU-KWAN reveals to HOI SING that she has lost the wedding ring. She also reveals to him that she cannot let go of her ex-boyfriend and she will not marry him. HOI SING resorts to drink and he fights with a tramp in the park. LAI-KING witnesses the scene while visiting a dog at the park and she helps to get rid of the tramp……

LAI-KING brings HOI SING back to home. On the next day, HOI SING pretends to be calm and reveals to WAI-SUM that he has separated with YIU-KWAN. HOI LEUNG accompanies MING-CHU to have body check and he is overjoyed to learn that it’s a baby boy. HOI SING tells LAM-TAI about the break-up and LAM-TAI promises to find out YIU-KWAN’s ex-boyfriend for him. HOI SING and LAM-TAI go back to the factory. LAI-KING asks WAI-SUM about the relationship status of HOI SING and YIU-KWAN. LAM-TAI is frightened. LAM-TAI asks YIU-KWAN out and he kisses LAI-KING in front of her. LAI-KING is enraged for LAM-TAI makes use of her to get rid of YIU-KWAN. She then gets serious headache suddenly. LAM-TAI tries to check with MEI-SZ the composition of the painkiller that LAI-KING is taking. HOI LEUNG discovers that the business of the factory is improving. He asks CHEUK-WAI to lure LAI-KING to cause troubles to the factory again.

WAI-SUM asks LAI-KING to make telegraphic transfer to other business partners. LAI-KING goes to have body check at the hospital and the doctor tells her that her brain tumor is getting larger. In order to help the family, LAI-KING decides to betray the factory again. HOI SING discovers that the factory is suddenly lack of liquidity. LAI-KING admits that she has made a mistake and she will resign for it. HOI LEUNG is very satisfied with LAI-KING’s performance and he hires her as a senior administrative assistant in the marking department. YIU-KWAN is shocked to learn from KIN-SHING that LAM-TAI and LAI-KING are not lovers. YIU-KWAN reveals to HOI SING that she used to date LAM-TAI. HOI SING believes LAM-TAI is cheating on him and he starts a fight with him. HOI SING reveals the case to WAI-SUM and he is ashamed for hurting his good friend……

HOI LEUNG visits HOI SING and they quarrel with each other again. WAI-SUM cannot bear to see this and she reveals a long-kept secret to HOI LEUNG… HOI LEUNG tells HOI SING that he will give the factory another two months to make a profit and he promises not to give troubles to the factory anymore. HOI LEUNG asks LAI-KING to steal HOI SING’s hair by giving her a very attractive reward… YIU-KWONG asks YIU-KWAN to stay overseas but YIU-KWAN still cannot forget LAM-TAI. HOI LEUNG invites LAM-TAI for a meeting. He gives him a list of customers as well as a business development plan for the factory. LAM-TAI throws away the customer list and he deliberately let CHEUK-WAI see this. LAM-TAI discovers that LAI-KING is fighting with the officers from Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department for she is trying to protect a stray dog and he helps her to get rid of the officers……

HOI LEUNG’s friend is discovered to be having an illegitimate child after committing adultery. MING-CHU shares this gossip with HOI LEUNG and MEI-SZ. HOI LEUNG promises to spend more time with MING-CHU. MING-CHU and MEI-SZ are overjoyed. HOI SING joins the marketing department of Treasure Ocean Plus Group. He meets LAI-KING there and they start a quarrel with each other. HOI SING used to major in mechanical engineering and he finds it difficult to make a marketing proposal. LAI-SUM is worried about him. LAM-TAI visits HOI SING at Treasure Ocean Plus Group and he meets HOI LEUNG. LAM-TAI reveals that he finds no problems in the customer list that HOI LEUNG gave them and HOI LEUNG humiliates him. HOI SING finds it hard to work alone in the marketing department and he asks LAM-TAI to help writing the marketing proposal for him. MING-CHU suffers from toxemia and she is sent to the hospital……

HOI SING gives pressure to LAI-KING at work. LAI-KING cannot bear the stress and she collapses. LAM-TAI reveals the health condition of LAI-KING to HOI SING. LAM-TAI arranges a meeting with the chief editor of the magazine that reports the negative news of their new project and he solves the problem tactfully……

LAI-HA is shocked to find that HOI SING is carrying LAI-KING back to home. She urges her sister to seize the chance and to introduce some wealthy men to her in the future. LAM-TAI is grateful for MEI-SZ accompanies him to check out the new properties so he drives her to work and back to home. HOI LEUNG witnesses it and he is displeased. HOI LEUNG tells LAM-TAI that the real estate agent wants to sue them for breaking the contract. He uses this as an excuse to fire LAM-TAI. MEI-SZ questions LAM-TAI over and over again. LAM-TAI finally reveals that HOI LEUNG does not like him and he reveals his true thinking to MEI-SZ… HOI SING is absent for the sales meeting because he is upset that LAM-TAI is fired……

MING-CHU goes to the hospital to pick up MEI-SZ but she suddenly feels sick. The doctor says that her blood pressure is very high. MING-CHU doesn’t want HOI LEUNG to worry about her so she stays in WAI-SUM’s home temporarily while telling HOI LEUNG that she is going to the temple in an outlying island to pray for their well being. HOI LEUNG tells WAI-SUM that HOI SING refuses to work because of LAM-TAI. WAI-SUM tells HOI LEUNG that MING-CHU is sick and HOI LEUNG realizes that he is not caring enough to his dear ones. HOI LEUNG apologizes to HOI SING and HOI SING invites LAM-TAI to return to work. LAM-TAI asks LAI-KING out and he declares his love to her. LAI-KING is shocked and she runs away nervously. LAM-TAI overhears LAI-HA’s comments on him and HOI SING. He realizes that HOI SING appears to be more outstanding than him. LAM-TAI returns to work……

The new spokesperson AMY introduced by LAM-TAI is very good at handling media enquires. Director CHIU who is believed to have an affair with AMY also arrives at the press briefing and HOI LEUNG is very impressed. LAM-TAI waits for MEI-SZ at the university and he encourages her to give her best at the graduation exams. He teaches her how to handle stress and lends his lucky pen to her as well. LAM-TAI meets HOI LEUNG and he reveals that he knows HOI LEUNG wants to get acquainted with Director CHIU. HOI LEUNG appreciates LAM-TAI’s talent and asks if he is interested to work in the investment department. HOI SING goes to the investment department to look for LAM-TAI but he pays no attention to HOI LEUNG. HOI LEUNG suggests HOI SING to work in the investment department as well……

LAI-KING discovers that there is a vacancy in the investment department so she applies for it immediately in order to work with HOI SING. HOI SING starts working as an investment manager and his supervisor MICHAEL treats him really well. LAM-TAI feels a little unhappy about it. After checking through the files, HOI SING starts a discussion with LAM-TAI. LAM-TAI says that MICHAEL’s investment style is too conservative. After the meeting, LAM-TAI takes away HOI SING and HOI LEUNG’s glasses secretly. MEI-SZ passes the exams and she invites HOI SING and LAM-TAI to attend her graduation party. MEI-SZ is seriously injured in a traffic accident and the doctor says that she may not be able to walk again. MING-CHU collapses upon hearing it. LAM-TAI receives the DNA reports of HOI SING and HOI LEUNG eventually. He then makes up his mind. MING-CHU suspects that HOI LEUNG is cheating on her deliberately regarding his relationship with WAI-SUM……

LAM-TAI discovers that HOI SING is working really hard for the company and he teases him for neglecting the factory because of HOI LEUNG. HOI SING reveals that he wants HOI LEUNG to spend more time with MEI-SZ. LAM-TAI visits MEI-SZ to reveal his feelings on her but MEI-SZ rejects him right away. HOI SING helps LAM-TAI to apply for a 3 months no-pay leave and HOI LEUNG believes that this is related to MEI-SZ. MEI-SZ’s wheelchair overturns accidentally and LAM-TAI risks his life to rescue her. MEI-SZ is deeply touched and she agrees to be his girlfriend. LAM-TAI returns to work and he gives an outstanding proposal to HOI LEUNG. HOI LEUNG is pleased and he promotes him as an investment manager. HOI LEUNG accompanies MING-CHU to the hospital for body-check. MING-CHU still has a problem with blood pressure because she is emotional all the time. HOI LEUNG knows the reason behind. With the support of LAM-TAI, MEI-SZ recovers gradually……

LAM-TAI knows that HOI LEUNG appreciates his talent but HOI LEUNG only wants him to assist HOI SING in his works. Even the colleagues think that LAM-TAI will be working under HOI SING all the time. LAM-TAI cannot bear it and he decides to strike back. MING-CHU receives an email with HOI LEUNG and HOI SING’s DNA reports. After confirming it with the laboratory, she falls down from the staircases accidentally and the baby is gone. HOI LEUNG discovers that MICHAEL has made a big mistake and he decides to appoint HOI SING as the director of the investment department instead. LAM-TAI visits MING-CHU. MEI-SZ finds her hand shaking while performing an operation for a patient……

HOI SING wants to start again with YIU-KWAN but YIU-KWAN says that she has no feelings on him anymore. HOI SING discovers that LAI-KING has collapsed again and he rushes to the hospital to visit her. LAI-KING cries in front of him. HOI SING tells LAM-TAI that YIU-KWAN has returned. KIN-SHING suggests LAM-TAI to give her the wedding invitation face to face. MING-CHU worries that HOI SING will take over Treasure Ocean Plus Group. She asks HOI LEUNG to pay more attention to his work because HOI SING is still green. HOI LEUNG is shocked to discover that the manager of the development unit has died suddenly. He reveals to HOI SING that he wants to hand over his work to him gradually. He also asks CHEUK-WAI to arrange changing his testament with the lawyer. In order to take care of the drunk YIU-KWAN, HOI SING nearly misses a huge business opportunity. LAI-KING scolds him angrily and she blurts out her love for him……

MING-CHU asks LAM-TAI out to exchange information. LAM-TAI claims that HOI SING regards HOI LEUNG as the one who killed his father HOI YEUNG. HOI SING therefore tries to take revenge by destroying Treasure Ocean Plus Group. HOI LEUNG is shocked to learn that HOI SING has sold all the shares of Director CHIU. HOI SING admits coldly that he is trying to take a revenge on him. In order to calm HOI SING down, HOI LEUNG agrees to suspend his project with Director CHIU and he asks CHEUK-WAI to pacify Director CHIU by offering discounted shares to him. On MEI-SZ and LAM-TAI’s wedding day, Director CHIU suddenly arrives. HOI SING overhears HOI LEUNG’s conversation with Director CHIU and he realizes that HOI LEUNG has deceived him. HOI LEUNG is displeased that HOI SING is fighting with him all the time because of HOI YEUNG. He wants to tell him the truth but WAI-SUM stops him nervously. She suddenly collapses and falls into the swimming pool……

LAM-TAI goes to console MING-CHU. MING-CHU decides to give up fighting for the company and LAM-TAI accepts her decision reluctantly. HOI LEUNG and MING-CHU go to visit WAI-SUM’s grave secretly. HOI LEUNG requests to stay alone at the grave. Instigated by LAM-TAI, MING-CHU decides to take everything away from HOI LEUNG and HOI SING. HOI SING meets up with the shareholders of Treasure Ocean Plus Group and he persuades them to unseat HOI LEUNG. LAM-TAI persuades HOI SING to borrow money from the Godfather of Asian Fund SOLO in order to fight with HOI LEUNG… HOI LEUNG calls for a press briefing to announce his joint project with Director CHIU but HOI SING stop the event by bringing him an injunction from the court. MEI-SZ resigns from her job at the hospital and she reveals to HOI LEUNG that she is suffering from the sequela of the traffic accident. HOI SING proposes to unseat HOI LEUNG at the shareholders’ meeting……

MING-CHU reveals to HOI LEUNG that she already knew his relationship with HOI SING. This is the main reason for her miscarriage and HOI LEUNG is heart-broken. MING-CHU reveals that she doesn’t want HOI LEUNG to give everything to HOI SING so she is trying to fight for the benefits of MEI-SZ. SOLO forces HOI SING to return the money to him and HOI SING realizes that he has fallen into the trap of MING-CHU. MING-CHU reveals to HOI SING that HOI LEUNG is his father and HOI SING is deeply shocked. MEI-SZ doesn’t understand why MING-CHU has supported the proposal to unseat HOI LEUNG and MING-CHU says that this is because HOI LEUNG has betrayed her. LAI-KING discovers that HOI SING is sick and she sends him to the hospital. The doctor asks HOI SING to stay because he is suffering from pleural effusion. HOI LEUNG knows that MING-CHU is not able to manage the company so he requests to stay and help her……

LAM-TAI asks LAI-KING to be his assistant but LAI-KING refuses him. LAI-KING brings HOI LEUNG to the hospital but HOI SING has disappeared. LAI-KING is fired and LAM-TAI mocks at her. HOI LEUNG meets KIN-SHING at the factory. He decides to open a new factory with KIN-SHING and LAI-KING so as to get HOI SING back to work. MING-CHU makes a careless mistake that could cause huge loss to the company and she asks LAM-TAI for help. LAM-TAI hints to her that it is not convenient for him to get involved in the decision making process unless he is the President of the company. HOI LEUNG discovers that HOI SING is working in a small shop that repairs home appliances for the neighborhoods and he scolds him angrily… KIN-SHING reveals to HOI SING that his friend has sold an old factory to him and he wants HOI SING to help managing the factory but HOI SING rejects him. LAI-KING waits for HOI SING in the rain and she finally collapses……

MING-CHU proposes to appoint LAM-TAI as the President of the company and the shareholders object the idea. After the meeting, MING-CHU scolds HOI LEUNG madly. HOI LEUNG urges HOI SING to face the truth and join KIN-SHING in managing the new factory but HOI SING finds him unbearable. HOI LEUNG discovers that MING-CHU is taking a lot of pills at home. He is shocked to realize that MING-CHU has been suffering from emotional diseases for long and she needs medication to sleep. HOI SING decides to move out of the shop and LAI-KING stops him. HOI SING scolds her with harsh words and LAI-KING leaves sadly. HOI LEUNG discovers that LAM-TAI had asked the laboratory to check the DNA of him and HOI SING. He asks LAM-TAI out to question him. LAM-TAI asks HOI LEUNG to forgive him but HOI LEUNG refuses. LAM-TAI has no choice but to fight with HOI LEUNG and he kicks him down the hill……

LAM-TAI tries to kill HOI LEUNG but his action stimulates him to wake up suddenly. The doctor says that HOI LEUNG’s brain is seriously injured and he has lost the memory of the past year. Half year later, LAM-TAI picks HOI LENG up from the hospital and he tries to test if HOI LEUNG has really forgotten everything. HOI LEUNG reveals to MING-CHU that he has recalled the past memories with HOI YEUNG while staying in the hospital. He wants to reconcile with HOI SING and WAI-SUM. MING-CHU has no choice but to tell him that WAI-SUM has died. HOI LEUNG finally reveals his true feelings to MING-CHU… MING-CHU doesn’t know how to face HOI LEUNG. MEI-SZ persuades her to forget the past and start anew with him. HOI LEUNG accidentally overhears LAM-TAI’s conversation with KIN-SHING and he feels satisfied with LAM-TAI. HOI SING meets HOI LEUNG while visiting his mother’s grave……

HOI LEUNG recovers satisfactorily and he decides to pay a visit to the company. He is relieved to discover that everything is running smoothly. MING-CHU keeps telling HOI LEUNG that LAM-TAI is really helpful and HOI LEUNG starts to consider handing over the whole company to LAM-TAI. HOI LEUNG and MING-CHU decide to appoint LAM-TAI as both the President and the Chairman of the company. HOI LEUNG, MING-CHU and MEI-SZ go to visit HOI SING at the factory. They meet LAI-KING there and LAI-KING tries to remind HOI LEUNG that he has got a son when everybody is not paying attention… HOI SING declares his love to LAI-KING and LAI-KING is deeply touched. LAM-TAI receives a call from YIU-KWAN and he is shocked to learn that YIU-KWAN has taken a video of him pushing HOI LEUNG off the hill. YIU-KWAN threatens him to divorce MEI-SZ… MING-CHU visits HOI SING and she hopes that he could work with HOI LEUNG in the factory……

HOI SING accompanies LAI-KING to the hospital to check if her condition is good for brain surgery. LAI-KING asks HOI SING to take leave so that they could play around together. HOI SING doesn’t understand why and HOI LEUNG tells him the reason behind. LAM-TAI and MEI-SZ visit KIN-SHING. LAM-TAI tells him that he will be working overseas soon. KING-SHING follows LAM-TAI secretly. While LAM-TAI is meeting YIU-KWAN, KIN-SHING suddenly appears… MEI-SZ organizes a charity sale to help the poor children and YIU-KWAN suddenly arrives without invitation. HOI SING worries that she will ruin the relationship between LAM-TAI and MEI-SZ so he tries to talk with YIU-KWAN. YIU-KWAN seduces HOI SING and LAI-KING witnesses the scene… HOI SING shares his worries with HOI LEUNG and HOI LEUNG suggests him to propose marriage to LAI-KING……

LAM-TAI and MEI-SZ reconcile with each other. Lots of reporters come to interview them and MEI-SZ helps to clear the rumors for LAM-TAI. MEI-SZ reveals to HOI LEUNG that she wants to visit the poor children in China. LAM-TAI has decided to quit his work and go with her as well. HOI LEUNG reveals to MING-CHU that he has resumed his memory and MING-CHU says that she has sensed it long time ago… MEI-SZ and LAM-TAI return to Hong Kong. MEI-SZ reveals to HOI LEUNG that she has donated all her company shares to the charity fund. HOI LEUNG discovers that LAM-TAI has the right to take away all the shares from the charity fund. LAM-TAI reveals to HOI LEUNG that he has done everything because he wants to be on the top. MEI-SZ witnesses it and she is deeply shocked… LAM-TAI tries to show his father how successful he is now but KIN-SHING scolds him angrily. LAM-TAI becomes the biggest shareholder of the company and he fires CHEUNG WAH……

LAI-KING arranges a chance for HOI SING and HOI LEUNG to talk with each other alone. HOI LEUNG and HOI SING accompany MEI-SZ to the law firm to sign the divorce letter. They meet LAM-TAI there accidentally. LAM-TAI teases MEI-SZ and he claims that he will do everything to stop the factory from becoming listed… KIN-SHING scolds LAM-TAI and he reveals that HOI LEUNG has remembered everything.
