Season 1

Pauline's estranged and emotionally abusive husband Olivier meets with a fatal accident, and her response raises suspicion. Police investigator Marie and magistrate Morgane are assigned to the case.

Pauline's erratic behaviour lands her in custody. Olivier's parents recommend their own lawyer and offer to pay.

Pauline's in-laws block her access to the children, claiming it's for the kids' protection. Pauline is suspicious of her lawyer's motives.

The gruelling trial begins. A surprising event gives Pauline some hope even though her whole future is in other people's hands.
