Season 2

Brody has been elected to Congress. A woman named Roya comes to see him, and asks him to steal a list of homeland targets from Estes's office safe. Carrie is working with the CIA again because Fatima, an informant married to a man working for Abu Nazir, tells Saul that she'll only speak to Carrie. Estes goes to pick up Carrie at her sister's house, and then she's sent to Cyprus, where she's prepped for a brief mission in Lebanon.

Fatima tells Carrie about a meeting her husband - a Hezbollah commander - will be having in Beirut with Abu Nazir, and Carrie and Saul call Estes to tell him and to request a special forces team to capture Nazir.

Brody takes his car to be professionally cleaned and to have a strong smoke smell removed. Max and Virgil follow Brody and take photos of him. Brody then takes a cab to CIA Headquarters, where Carrie waits inside for his arrival. As he walks towards the building from the parking lot, she exits and walks past him. He is very surprised to see her and calls her name. She turns and greets him casually.

Brody finds himself prisoner again, but this time it's on American soil. Meanwhile, Carrie is forced to play second fiddle after her rash judgment call at the hotel as Estes is busy keeping Jessica off their trail. Dana's relationship with Finn goes to the next level when their date night turns deadly serious.

Dana is shocked by her visit to the hospital. Faber's Tom Walker questions get him tangled up with the CIA. Brody agrees to help stop an attack on America, but his loyalty is questioned when Gettysburg once again becomes a battleground.

Reeling from the recent ambush, Carrie and the team struggle to regain control of their operation while Brody and his family attend a fundraiser at a Virginia horse farm. Saul visits Aileen in solitary confinement, hoping she'll provide key intelligence on the attack. An anguished Dana pressures Finn to come clean about their hidden crime, but her quest to tell the truth collides with her father's secret mission in ways neither could have foreseen.

He lies for Carrie. He lies for Roya. And he's still lying to Jessica. Brody heads towards a serious meltdown as he struggles to keep his complicated alliances clear. Against Quinn's orders, Carrie stages a risky intervention to keep Brody in line, forcing both of them to confront their mixed emotions. Meanwhile, Dana turns to an unlikely source for comfort.

Brody makes a necessary phone call. Saul teams up with Virgil and Max to dig up some information on one of their own. Carrie finds herself preparing for the most important meeting of her career.

Saul catches up with an old friend and discovers evidence of covert activities by Estes. Brody and Vice President Walden find themselves at odds over the future of their political relationship, while Dana and Finn come to terms with their own differences.

Dangerously close to exhaustion, Carrie continues her hunt for Nazir and begins to suspect there is a mole in the CIA. Roya reveals her true colours under interrogation and Saul finds himself fighting to save his career under unexpected circumstances. Meanwhile, the Brodys struggle to maintain anything close to a state of sanity.

Carrie is faced with a pivotal decision, while Brody meets with Faber to contemplate the future of the family. Meanwhile, Saul undertakes a secret assignment; and Quinn has a decision to make that may prove to be a game-changer.
