We journey this time to areas of the continent that draw more lightning than almost any other region on earth, and introduces viewers to such lethal fauna as The Great White Shark, Tasmanian Devils, and Cassowaries; it also glimpses Darwin's death-defying crocodile trappers at work.
3. Episode 3
Greg returns to the Great Barrier Reef, where sublime natural beauty combines with fierce predators, including ferocious tiger sharks, paralyzing box jellyfish and toxic cone shells. That most mysterious of Australian species: the platypus, the only mammal that lays eggs instead of giving birth to live young is also checked out. All the while, Grainger provides insightful and energetic commentary.
4. Episode 4
Greg journeys into the most dangerous and deadly locales in Australia's rich and varied landscape to document gripping footage in this lively adventure series. When they aren't dodging crocodiles, cyclones or sharks, Grainger and his crew take a look at marsupial aggression in the form of fighting kangaroos, which resemble kick-boxers in no small way.
5. Episode 5
Greg visits Australia's Fraser Island, where trackers follow the deadly breed of dog known as the dingo as it traverses all manner of rugged terrain. Other highlights include visits with blue-ringed octopuses, freshwater crocodiles, venomous snakes and great white sharks.
6. Episode 6
Greg and his crew tag along with firefighters battling devastating bush-fires. Ensuing adventures feature the snakes of Coffs Harbour, whale sharks and saltwater crocodiles. Other highlights include a look at Tasmania's tiny jack jumper ants, the most aggressive and deadly species of ant in the world.
