Leading the Masire family comes with its risks, so Veronica takes matters into her own hands and strikes an exchange with the Mermaid.

Struggling with the new pecking order, Mo initiates a power struggle behind bars. Veronica sets her sights on the King of Cape Town himself, Gavin Salat.

News about Tlotlo sends Mo into a tailspin, as he becomes Salat's next target. Plans go awry when the Masire sisters don't see eye to eye.

Salat and Veronica come to an agreement. Mo visits a prophet who uncovers the Mermaid's true purpose and the impending danger of the Khoi spirit.

Leon is forced to turn on his own brother, after a mysterious tattoo appears. Loyalties are tested and revealed when Mo finally finds his sister.

Mo's mission to capture Salat — and remove the plaguing Khoi spirit from his body — comes to an abrupt halt. Will it be enough to protect their family?

Salat is reprimanded by his own spirit, forced to bend to its will. A baby is born, and the Masire family is once again changed forever.
