The famous burglar, LUNG, follows his master, FU to earn a living by burglary in order to foster his sister, FUNG. However, LUNG is too kind and always gives up his stealing plan. He thus makes FU in great debt. LUNG makes use an assumed name, CHUNG, to communicate with a pen pal, DAN. LUNG always tells his hearty word to DAN through his letter. FUNG decides to give up her plan of studying abroad for LUNG’s sake. LUNG opposes her decision when he learnt about it. LUNG promises FU to complete a difficult task for FUNG’s sake. RICK likes DAN. However, DAN is sick of his evil deeds and refuses him. RICK tempts a newly joined detective, FANG, to join him but is in vain. RICK then treats him badly. FANG suffers terribly. DAN invites LUNG to attend a dressing party. However, DAN cannot see LUNG’s real face. LUNG’s difficult task is to break into RICK’s house.… ...

RICK dies. FANG and other cops arrive and intend to arrest the famous burglar. LUNG makes use of RICK’s identity to drive all away and hide RICK’s dead body into the fridge. LUNG continues his mission. FANG does not give up to search for RICK. FANG makes LUNG faint when LUNG gives up to run away in lest that they will eventually find him. LUNG is sent to the hospital. The cops attack FANG as his deed has incurred them lost. LUNG does not return lately. FUNG is kidnapped when the debt collector bothered FU. LUNG loses his memory. Detective, TSUI DAM FOO, forces DAN to help RICK. DAN’s younger brother, TUNG, arrives and immediately seeks help from the gangster, TZE, with nickname the Purple Grape. LUNG is forced to stay with DAN in one chamber. DAN beats LUNG terribly so as to help him recover his memory. TZE leads a group of people to save DAN. LUNG sets DAN free and apologizes to everybody on behalf of RICK’s identity.… ...

LUNG sends FUNG to the hospital. FANG is moved by LUNG who risked his life to save others. FANG is curious about FUNG and FU. He questions LUNG. FU eventually understands how LUNG became RICK. FU suggests LUNG to make use of RICK’s identity to make money. FUNG discloses a girl, KI, has committed shoplifting. He insists her to compensate and apologize. KI eventually surrenders and she is very interested in FANG. FANG’s father, KUNG, owns a pawnshop. He always wants FANG to give up being a cop but is in vain. LUNG decides to replace RICK. He takes out his diary to check who has owned RICK. FUNG studies abroad. FU advises LUNG to destroy his belonging. FU knew that DAN hates RICK deeply, he advises LUNG to give up DAN. LUNG goes to the pier to welcome RICK’s father, SAN and his grandmother, HEUNG. HEUNG witnesses LUNG who is a coward when the rascals are kidnapping him. She seizes his pistol and points at him.… ...

HEUNG points at LUNG so as to help him to recover his memory. TUNG imitates LUNG kneeling down on the floor to apologize. HEUNG slaps TUNG. In order to make LUNG win HEUNG’s favour, FU shows LUNG some movie so as to help LUNG develop the nature for a professional detective. However, FU does not succeed. LUNG investigates an assault case regarding a rich merchant. LUNG and FANG discover the same suspicious points separately. They even join force to arrest the suspect. LUNG is not used to RICK’s way of living. He finds HEUNG and SAN very strange. TUNG volunteers to join TZE’s gang. However, TZE drives TUNG away as she does not want to confront against LUNG. DAN scolds TUNG when she learnt that he intends to join the triad gang. DAN risks to go to Kolwoon City to see LUNG. In order to make DAN giving up, he leaves a farewell letter. DAN makes use of a radio programme to invite LUNG to meet her. DAN finds LUNG’s trace.… ...

LUNG orders FANG to investigate the murder case. In order to get rid of KI, FANG asks KI to investigate who is the murderer. A rich merchant from South East Asia, NG, is very eager to court DAN’s friend, DIN. DIN deliberately keeps away from him. Although LUNG and RICK are very different, DAN believes that LUNG is pretending to be a good guy to win her favour. DAN makes bitter dumpling since CHUNG was reluctant to see her. LUNG asks FU to watch over TUNG. Unexpectedly, FU brings TUNG to the casino and incurs TUNG in great debt. DAN believes that it is LUNG’s trap to get her brother into trouble. She begs LUNG and RICK’s family to set him free. TUNG’s father, KOO, is suffered from tuberculosis. Meanwhile, TUNG decides to leave home and follows TZE. LUNG wipes the casino and strictly forbids his colleagues to share the bribed money. He even charges the casino boss committing bribery. The chief of the police station is mad at LUNG.… ...

FU is hurt by electric shock in the toilet. His life is at stake. LUNG thinks that it was not an accident. FANG points out that the murderer is targeting LUNG. FU advises LUNG to make fast money and run away. KI lies that she is suffered from fatal disease. She cheats FANG to dance with her. She even kisses FANG. FANG is shocked. SAN has been coughed for a long time. However, he is too busy to work on his broadcasting task and refuses to see doctor. His broadcasting program is suspended due to his terrible cough during broadcasting. TZE promises to let TUNG join her gang. DIN does not want to see TUNG become a fugitive. She decides to see TZE. LUNG decides to negotiate with the gang leader and run away after making big money. DAN begs LUNG to save TUNG. LUNG struggles. TZE tells DIN his poor story in the past and claims that he will not act according to her sentiment forever. However, TZE is shocked when she saw TUNG’s jade pendant.… ...

DAN worries a lot about TUNG. Fortunately, LUNG arrives in time and controls the situation. TUNG is so frightened that he hurts a cop, NG HO CHEONG, mistakenly. LUNG donates blood to CHEONG. All are moved. TZE starts to investigate TUNG. FU is influenced by LUNG and he even dares to teach the Chief a lesson. All are shocked. DIN decides to follow NG to South East Asia. DAN worries that DIN’s past will affect DIN and NG’s relationship. All visit CHEONG. LUNG eventually can cope along well with all harmoniously. TUNG is set free. DAN and her family feel grateful for LUNG’s help. SAN has disappeared for a few days. LUNG and FANG open the chamber and saves SAN who is fainting inside the chamber. LUNG discovers DIN is somehow related to FU’s electric shock incident. LUNG asks FANG to investigate DIN. FANG finds out DIN and RICK’s hatred from a cop, OXFORD. They hurry to the hospital to save LUNG. DIN is arrested.… ...

LUNG interrogates DIN. DIN does not defend and even hangs herself to death at the detaining room. LUNG believes that she killed herself from fear of punishment. LUNG and FANG revisit the place where DIN killed herself. They got new clue. DAN reports to the police station that NG has disappeared. LUNG and FUNG investigate NG’s home. They suspect CHEONG. They eventually find NG and his wife at CHEONG’s home. However, CHEONG has disappeared. LUNG learns that CHEONG is following SAN’s broadcasting story to commit crimes. LUNG requests SAN to change his story. SAN refuses. SAN thinks that LUNG has arranged FU to bring him to the nightclub to see TZE. SAN is very angry. LUNG is at a lost. FANG reckons that CHEONG will commit murder at midnight. LUNG goes to see DAN. All are gathered at the police station at midnight. LUNG is all right. LUNG rings SAN and thanks him. However, he learns that DAN’s life is at stake.

CHEONG threatens SAN to extend his broadcasting story. LUNG learnt that CHEONG has detained DAN. He worries a lot. FANG comforts LUNG. DIN wakes up and tells them the truth. NG’s mother pays DIN money so as to make DIN leave NG. TZE speaks for DIN. However, NG is a coward and dares not to oppose her mother. DIN is heart-broken. TZE forces KOO to disclose TUNG’s background. KOO has no alternate but to tell them the truth. TZE is glad. She goes to see SAN and teases him. CHEONG leaves a clue and requires LUNG to find DAN within one day. LUNG wants to move CHEONG’s heart. He asks FUNG and DIN to find CHEONG’s wife. LUNG goes to see SAN. He intends to move CHEONG through SAN’s broadcasting programme. However, SAN is very depressed after TZE has teased him. LUNG scolds SAN terribly and eventually enlightens him. SAN and DIN make CHEONG to ring to the broadcasting station. LUNG spots CHEONG’s trace through the phone-call recording.… ...

The father and son relationship of SAN and LUNG improves. DAN asks LUNG to return her letters from CHUNG. LUNG takes the chance to ask DAN to forget the past. LUNG visits CHEONG at the mental hospital. He asks him whether he had killed RICK but cannot get a clue. DIN continues her life as a singer. However, the customers boycott her as she is pregnant. LUNG eventually learns why TZE and SAN separated from each other. He decides to go to the South East Asia to ask the person to be responsible so as to clear everything. When LUNG farewells to DAN, he witnesses FU who is robbing an old lady. LUNG persuades FU to follow him to the police station. KI enrolls to be a police so as to get close to FANG. FANG is assigned to take care KI. All laugh at FANG. FANG stops DIN to take abortion. He even invites DIN to live in his place temporarily. Unexpectedly, KUNG has rented the room to KI. FANG arranges KI to live in the roof-top.… ...

BAO kidnaps KI and escapes away from prison. KI fell into the sea when she is struggling with him. FANG visits KI. KI hugs FANG tightly and tells him her heart. FUNG finds that KI has disappeared. He returns to the police station and asks for help but all ignore him. WING requests TZE to share the money when BAO has disappeared. TZE shows WING her power. FANG goes to SHIU CHUN WAI’s home to see KI. WAI is the richest man in Hong Kong. KI tells him that she is going to get married. FANG knew that KI is not willing to get married. They eventually find BAO’s dead body. TUNG comforts TZE. Somebody attacks TZE. TZE tries her best to protect TUNG. LUNG returns to Hong Kong and by chance finds out TUNG’s real identity. TUNG is charged of thief at RICK’s home. KOO’s wife, TING, is very angry with HEUNG who has accused TUNG wrongly. She is so angry that she told her that TUNG is SAN and TZE’s son.… ...

HEUNG only lets TUNG return home but refuses to let TZE return. SAN opposes HEUNG resolutely. TZE claims that if SAN could make her drop a tear, then she will follow him home. SAN broadcasts TZE and his love story. The gangsters thus despise TZE and force her to give up her share of region. TZE visits the fortune-teller. The fortune-teller points out that she will live a lonely life. TZE scolds the fortune-teller angrily. However, she soon learns that the fortune-teller did have made a right prediction. In order to take revenge, TZE goes to see SAN. FUNG finds that KI’s fiance, SHAM KA MING, is a good guy. SAN welcomes TZE home. HEUNG hates TZE terribly. SAN decides to leave his family together with TZE. Unexpectedly, HEUNG laughs strangely……….FANG discovers that KUNG is receiving some stolen goods. He even discloses that FU stole at the Evidence Room. LUNG sees that FU does not reform himself and decides to punish him.… ...

FANG discloses KI’s plot at the Chruch. KI drives FANG away. FANG tells KI his motive. KI is touched. On KI’s birthday, FANG tells KI his plan. KI then passes the gift given by her father to LUNG and DAN so as to make them have a romantic and memorable night. Although KI and FANG have to take can food, they still feel very romantic. FU fasts at the detaining centre. All speak good word for FU. LUNG eventually compromises and devises to help FU reform. LUNG and his colleagues are very busy for the false bomb alarm cases. Later, they receive a letter of extortion with an undersigned signature “PUPPET”. LUNG understands that he cannot use RICK’s identity forever. He decides to separate with DAN. DAN is heart-broken. Meanwhile, the dumpling shop has an explosion. PUPPET calls up to extort one million. HEUNG devises to separate SAN and TZE but is in vain. LUNG devises to catch PUPPET. However, PUPPET is a very shrewd criminal.

LUNG discovers FU’s stolen paper note with marks. LUNG interrogates FU. FU is very dissatisfied. FANG books the whole cinema to flatter KI. FANG also admits that KI is his girlfriend. KI is full of joy. LUNG goes to a shooting studio to investigate a stolen case at the gunpowder room. He meets DAN who is having an interview. DAN is cast to be the female protagonist. DIN immediately arranges a rehearsal with DAN. DIN has showed her admire but DAN does not notice at all. HEUNG again devises to stop SAN and TZE registered for marriage but is in vain. KI takes DAN’s advice and works very hard so as to win FANG’s favour. Consequently, KI gets a clue and informs everybody. LUNG felt that it is too smooth. LUNG eventually discovers who is the murderer’s next target. LUNG hurries to the registry……….. Stain dead body smell spreads all over RICK’s villa. LUNG and his colleagues arrive at the villa to investigate.… ...

SAN decides to migrate overseas with TZE despite HEUNG’s opposition. HEUNG pretends to become fainted to win sympathy. HEUNG discovers that TZE prays for her and is willing to shorten her life span for her sake. HEUNG is moved. HEUNG and TZE eventually reconcile. DIN sings for DAN secretly during the press conference. LUNG again courts DAN with an anonymous name. DAN blames LUNG who is too fluctuated. LUNG hugs DAN and expresses his love. However, LUNG still claims that he cannot stay with her. DAN is heart-broken. KI sees that FANG is very intimate with LUNG when he is teaching LUNG how to shoot. KI also wants to learn how to shoot. However, FANG’s attitude is very different when he is teaching KI. KI is very upset. KI eavesdrops at FANG when he is praying. KI blames FANG who has cheated her. FANG immediately proposes to marry KI. KI successfully persuades a woman not to commit suicide. KI is very contented.… ...

FUNG follows KI’s elder brother, DAVID, to KI’s wedding. LUNG fears FUNG will disclose their relationship. Fortunately, FUNG knew about everything from FU. She even persuades LUNG to replace RICK and serves the public. HEUNG is suffered from high blood pressure. TZE and SAN then delay their trip. LUNG decides to let TZE to make use of RICK’s villa to open a restaurant. DIN meets FU who is very depressed. She treats him a meal. DAN thinks that DIN gave up NG for her sakes and feels very guilty. TZE by chance discovers the secret of the chamber at RICK’s villa. DAN goes to the cinema and finds that LUNG is waiting for her. She does not believe that it was DIN’s deed. DAN backs to the shooting studio and is shocked to find NG who is seriously injured. NG claims that DIN pierces him for DAN’s sake. DIN expresses her love to DIN. DAN cannot accept her love. A newspaper discloses that SAN had an illegal intercourse with the underage girl.… ...

SAN blames RICK who has threatened him to keep the secret when RICK found out that his is not his family’s offspring. HEUNG suffers a great blow. DAN cannot accept DIN. LUNG also finds RICK’s family too complicated. Both of them find their encounter unbelievable. All is very determined to find out who is the master-man regarding SAN’s scandal. KI sees that FUNG who has deliberately hid her brother’s trace. KI suspects FUNG. Later, she finds LUNG and FUNG’s photo. KI tells FANG the case. FANG tells KI that FUNG is LUNG’s mistress. KI does not believe. In order to keep away from DIN, DAN employs a new manager. DIN is heart-broken. FU picks DIN’s invitation letter to DAN. FU goes to see DIN. He found that DIN intends to kill herself. He sends her to the hospital. FU scolds DAN. KI and FANG are shocked to learn that LUNG and FUNG are brother and sister. They advise SAN to keep an eye on LUNG.… ...

FU worries a lot for DIN who will commit stupid act. FU is very positive in seeking for a job so as to set an example to DIN. DAN considers about DIN’s feeling and requests LUNG to give her one-week time to consider his marriage proposal. FANG and KI follow FUNG who is going to see LUNG. FUNG protects LUNG and claims that she is her mistress. DAVID arrives and suffers a great blow. FU blames LUNG who is selfish and even sacrifices FUNG’s future. LUNG is very upset. DIN knows that DAN has got a chance to develop her showbiz in the US, she advises her to grasp this good opportunity. LUNG finds the girl and arranges a press conference to clear the case. However, it makes the case even worse. LUNG got few clues and discovers TZE’s bad deed. He discloses TZE’s plot. TZE does not regret at all. She even admits her bad deed and claims that TUNG is not SAN’s offspring. HEUNG suffers a great blow.… ...

LUNG is shocked to see that HEUNG could redeem back their house. In fact, SAN and HEUNG only pretend to fall into TZE’s trap so as to remove her hatred. LUNG sighs that SAN is very deep thought and has to lay himself out. SAN intends to check whether LUNG has got the scar but is in vain. DAN sponsors DIN to set up a dumpling shop. DIN is glad. LUNG knew that FANG and KI suspect his identity. In order to keep away from trouble, LUNG proposes to go to US with DAN after married. LUNG tells DIN that DAN and him are going to get married very soon. DIN threatens to commit suicide and pierce LUNG mistakenly. DAN blames DIN. RICK’s dead body was discovered. All go to recognize the identity. SAN claims that it is not RICK. FUNG finds out that SAN is lying. FANG and KI question SAN. FUNG deliberately keeps RICK’s health record. He believes that LUNG will confess instead of destroying the record. DAN finds out that LUNG is her pen-pal.… ...

LUNG admits that he is the “Famous Burglar” and tells them how and why he got the chance to replace RICK. FUNG and DAN appreciate LUNG who is so brave to admit wrong doings. All believe in LUNG and thinks that CHEONG had killed RICK. However, CHUN could prove that CHEONG is innocent. DAN finds that all evidences are against LUNG. After through consideration, she goes to the police station to confess. DIN follows. DIN also claims that she is the murderer. FANG has no alternative but to detain both. LUNG is first suspect. All are vexed. LUNG tells all his last will. FANG suddenly tells them that they have found the real murderer. LUNG is sentenced lightly. KI decides to study in the US. FANG tries to make KI stay but does not succeed. TZE is doing great in overseas. However, she discovers that she has suffered from lung cancer. She feels that life is very delicate and returns to Hong Kong. She talks with SAN her grievance.… ...
