All Her Beautiful Green Remains In Tears (2018) consists of re-purposed footage from Walt Disney's Nature's Half Acre (1951), with its parables about domesticated postwar suburbia: nest building, chick rearing, mother love, industrious insects, and traditional gender roles. In this case, the new voiceover - replacing Winston Hibler - also focuses on romantic anthropomorphism. The difference is this voiceover has been generated by a neural network which has learned its existence entirely from reading the female protagonist voice in romance novels. Using image recognition/ closed captioning, it tells an entirely different story of the birds and the bees of nature documentary: one of female desire, trauma, masochism, and emotional fantasy. Starting with her own memories of working as an actress on Abbas Kiarostami's Ten, filmmaker Roya Akbari proceeds to elicit other testimonies on the masters of Iranian cinema from three people who are themselves among the foremost Iranian directors: Rafi Pitts on Parviz Kimiavi; Amir Naderi on Sohrab Shahid Saless; and Bahram Bayzai on Arby Ovanessian. Bayzai also analyses Haji Agha, the Cinema Actor (1933) by Ovanes Ohanian, considered the first feature film made in Iran.

"The Law of Remains" is a blood-soaked pageant of contemporary Grand Guignol depicting mass murder, sexual mutilation, necrophilia and cannibalism simulated by actors portraying the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer (named Jeffrey Snarling in the script) and Andy Warhol and his entourage. The work is divided into seven scenes, scattered over two floors of the hotel, that are intended to trace the soul's journey as described in the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

"Land Changes Hands, but the Bees Remain in the Hive" is a short, found footage film which delves into the controversial Fast Track Land Reform Programme (FTLRP) initiated by former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe in 2000. The program aimed to redistribute white-owned farmland to Zimbabweans across cultural boundaries, and was often accompanied by violence. Two decades later, a young white Zimbabwean woman reflects on her childhood experiences during the primary years of the land invasions and the lasting effects on her family, as well as the persistent racism within the white farming community.
