Biography
Martina Eitner-Acheampong (born June 1, 1960, in Cottbus as Martina Eitner) is a German actress and theater director. She began her acting studies in 1981 at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst in Rostock. In 1985, she went to the Theater Rudolstadt for two years. This was followed by varying engagements as an assistant at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Rostock and as an actress at Theater unterm Dach and Orphtheater in Berlin. As a director, she worked at the Puppentheater Wismar.
After returning to Rudolstadt, Eitner-Acheampong primarily collaborated with director Konstanze Lauterbach (for example, playing the title role in Georg Seidel's play “Carmen Kittel”). After an engagement at Theater Vorpommern in Greifswald, she moved to Schauspiel Leipzig in 1991, where she appeared as a protagonist in various productions directed by Konstanze Lauterbach.
