Overview

The film unfolds through letters exchanged years ago between the auntie and her nephew. Jiajiang appears as an unfamiliar landscape of stalled construction relics and ordinary county-town life. As an outsider, Gao Yuan observes quietly, finding connection through the seemingly casual letters that anchor his intrusion.
